So, how can you make relationship? First, find similar site in your niche, both small ones (for making serious relationship) and big ones (to get inspire). Subscribe to their RSS, follow them on twitter and facebook and lastly give valuable comments on their site. It's like buttering the bread but it can help you to get good traffic.

This is my best and almost best way for every bloggers to drive traffic to their blog. Lots of tutorial you can find regarding this topic on web because almost all bloggers newbie and big ones do it. It can give you a good amount of traffic if you will write smart comments in right place at right time.

Most sites do not give dofollow backlinks but many still do. Write 10-20 comments on other sites, subscribe to their feed to get it available when new things arrive. First commenting give you more attention which is good for you.

Guest Posting

I think, if none of us will have not known this, this is the most used method to get quality backlinks to our site. After Google Penguin and Panda update, this technique is being rapidly used by bloggers, but you should be careful because Google is preparing to hit Guest Posting in its next update.

How about a tutorial on how to get your blogspot noticed by other. I'll tell you how to get traffic by using awesome techniques. My last post is 'How To Use Sticky Post Option In Wordpress'. If you write a post and you have no ranking in search engine then how will you get traffic for your blog. How to get those posts the first bit of attraction?

Q. what causes people and google to look in your direction?

A. links, specifically, links in the right places, relevant links.

When google sees a link it follows it to see where it goes. It also pays attention to where the link appears and what words the link uses. (and yes, even after penguin and panda links still count and what other links appear on the page and target page and what appears on those and so on .. kinda like the movie Inception except it's not dreams within dreams, it's links)

These things matter

• Anchor text.
• From where to get the link.
• Where the link points.
• all the other stuff.

Anchor Text

Before you start, choose your anchor text. That's the underlined linkable text, the bit of text that people click. That should be your main keywords or words that describe the post. It's how google determines what the link is talking about before it gets there, if it's relevant. 

Your post titles are like your anchor text. especially so when they appear on blog comments or in search result listings. try to avoid using words like "click here" or "see this post" when you're writing and linking to a post. instead, use a more creative way of introducing the link.

eg. I learned how to *adjust my rear derailleur* come and see

or

I managed to *fix my slipping gears on my bike*

Now To Get The Relevant Link

You can get relevant links by searching about keywords that belongs to your blog's niche. You can comment their by following above examples, all the readers will find your comment attractive and will click the link which you will include in your comment.

Another way to include link in your comment is by commenting on commentluv enabled sites. Commentluv plugin is a way by which bloggers reward their readers by allowing them to link to their latest post in their comment. It's been phenomonally successful, just over half a million downloads from wordpress.org successful.

For now though, you can get backlinks on relevant sites by commenting on commentluv enabled sites. There are 10's of thousands of commentluv enabled sites. I will post some commentluv enabled sites which have higher pagerank.

Note:

Don't just blast comments everywhere! there's a knack to getting your comments noticed and not spammed. I'll tell you in more detail about that on another post.

Remember, google is looking for words on the page that are related to your anchor text and the words on the page to where that leads. Just links are ok, but links on pages with words and phrases that are related to your page - better! so go ahead, go and use search engine.

Why Title Is So Important In SEO For A Blog

These are some things I learned from Yoast <-- some SEO guy that lots of people think talks sense (including me).Normally if you have a wordpress blog your post titles will be like this. Blog name >> Archive >> Post title

That's kind is  the wrong way around. People and search engines tend to give the early words more attention. So if your theme allows you to set the page title on a post by post basis then make sure you get your main keywords in early.

(if your theme doesn't allow that then grab Yoast SEO free plugin from wordpress.org)

Example:

let's imagine your bicycle gears were slipping. You did some research on how to adjust your bicycle derailleur and found some videos and other tutorials. You fixed it, yey! try to remember the exact words you used in the google search box to find that info.

That's the sort of thing that gets used in the title.

Example:

"rear derailleur adjustment - useful articles"

or

"how to adjust a rear derailleur - different views"

 
It helps if you can embed some youtube videos in your post. Google loves youtube! if a video can be shown in the search results then google will try to show one so include a video and give it a description.

Now, rather than have one solution. Have many so people see your post as more valuable because it has more info. It works, trust me.

You need more than titles though. Google wont always magically find you. There are things you can do to give it a little kick. You've heard of backlinks right? They're the one thing that everyone agrees that google looks at when ranking your site.
